Handsome & Sturdy piece of Furniture
This was bought to complement the crib. While the crib had the varnish smell for about 4-6 days, this dresser was pungent and needed much more time! Thankfully, I have not yet given birth and so had ample time to air out the room. I bought cedar blocks (normally used for the closet) and it worked. However, it was so strong that it took 3 weeks to fully air out. I kept leaving the door closed to the baby's room so that I could 'test' it.
I also put some drawer lining sheets underneath the drawers b/c I suspect that's where it's not fully airing out. Having the cedar blocks in the drawers was fine but underneath the drawers is what I fear may have been holding up the process altogether.
Oh, today, I scratched the surface with my ring today. Hmm...bummer. UPDATE: 4mos. later - However, with all the baby stuff on it (chging pad, wipes, ointments) I'd be hard pressed to tell you where the scratch is.
Guess it's just normal wear and tear. If I wanted something that...

I'm disappointed, the design is not not bad but poor quality, the color "expresso" is more really black and it came with damaged parts.
Not easy to assembly, so be prepared to spend at least an hour in on this task.

The positive, I called customer service to report the demanded parts and they were actually very friendly and they will send replacement for the damaged parts in +- 5 days.

Amazing diaper changing station!

We bought this playard because after looking at the different ones in stores this was the only one that had the diaper changing table supported on all four corners instead of just two corners. We expected and got a big baby and two and a half months and fifteen pounds later we still use it for practically every diaper change. The playard itself is incredibly stable so we feel really safe putting our baby in it. The only downside is that it is kind of bulky and heavy so it is not as portable as some of the other models out there, but we just figure that is the trade off for the kind of stablility the Chicco offers and wouldn't buy a different one if we could go back and do it over.

I got this for my daughter to go with the dresser and bed she got a year ago. It just came in and my daughter loves it. It came fully assembled aside from the knobs. My two complaints are one, what appears to be three drawers is actually a cabinet door with a shelf.. It is spacious and is currently holding her book collection but still would rather have them be drawers. Two, It is wood composite and will bubble if water is left on it for too long, which unfortunately happened to part of her dresser. Too delicate for toddler use.

I bought this for my 3 yr old's new "big boy" room. He has not had any real access to it yet, as it is stored away until we have the room completely set up. But right after we opened it, I allowed him to sit in it because I thought it may be too small for him. It's not too small, but will e soon. However, most notable is that from leaving it out one night, which included a few sittings and some jumping - one night only, people - there is already a tear in the vinyl where it creases to curve around the arm and the stitching in the seat is ripping the vinyl. This chair is adorable, but it's going to last a week - tops - in my son's room before it becomes a piece of trash. It is way too expensive for the life span and quality of the vinyl.

Just O.K. got what I paid for

Overall this product is just O.K. If you're looking for an item that is going to be abused and rarely seen then this may not be a bad choice. I had to reorder this item because the first one I received was not only damaged but also defective. The door had big gash in it and one of the pieces was missing all the holes which were supposed to be pre-drilled in it. Although it was easy to assemble, the end product was not of very good quality; the silver metal hardware is exposed and the overall structure does not feel very solid or stable. For right now it will have to do. The positive part of this experience was dealing with Amazon's customer service. Everyone was very helpful and friendly; corrected the situation in a timely and painless fashion.

Wonderful toddler set!

The colors of this sets are fabulous, my daughter loves it and when she has her friends they have a great time. It looks well made, I have sit on it and it hold me without any problem. We have had it for over a month now and it has being easy to clean with a humid cloth. I ordered this mattress with a little hesitation based on the only review available on amazon. After much research on outside sites, I decided to order. The mattress arrived two days after ordering which was a huge plus as I was anxious to see this product for myself. Upon drop off, I was able to easily move the mattress to our upstairs nursery alone at 35 weeks pregnant, which is great as I need a mattress that is sturdy yet I am able to lift with ease for changing sheets, washing crib skirts and flipping the mattress if necessary. We own a standard size crib from Pottery Barn and the mattress fit is perfect! The firmness of this mattress is great! Not as soft as the futon tufted cloth type mattresses we researched but not hard as a rock either. It is of an appropriate firmness for a newborn to sleep safely.
